LEVEL 3 BASIC CLOSE PROTECTION COURSE
The Security Industry Authority (SIA) require a minimum standard of 12 days + First Aid training for Close Protection training in order to qualify for an SIA licence in UK. We believe that this should be the first step on the CP career ladder for those wishing to further themselves in the industry.
PSS strongly suggest that Learner undertake further training in L4 Intelligence Operations & Advanced Surveillance to give them a much stronger foothold in the Security Industry.
Once you have been awarded your Level 3 Close Protection and Level 3 FAAW/FPOSI qualifications you can apply to the SIA for your licence. Certain medical and criminal histories may preclude you from being awarded a licence.
For those who will go on to pursue work in Hostile Environments you will need to gain experience in the CP sector and progress you knowledge and skill set by undertaking further more advanced courses.

Real Time Close Protection and Surveillance Exercises
Individual Requirements and Personal Development
All applicants will be assessed prior to the course for suitability based on past history, fitness and relative abilities.
All our highly experience instructors teach in an inclusive manner and are flexible to the individual needs of the learner.
Students will be taught the relevant knowledge and skills during the course to be able to pass both the practical and theory tests required by IQ and the SIA. Students will be vetted prior to the course and will be required to apply themselves during the course as we only wish to pass those that have the ability to work in the industry.
Students are required to complete a simple Literacy and Numeracy test at the beginning of the course.

Criminal records may have a bearing on SIA licensing post course. Please enquire before undertaking qualifications.
The course duration is 16 days intensive learning. It is possible to break the course into segments for those that cannot commit to a full 16 days.
During the course the student will be required to complete an individual work book, undertake assessments and compile written reports and video evidence for the portfolio. A final exam will consist of multiple choice questions.
We reserve the right to fail students that are not suitable for the industry due to poor attitude or lack of personal application to the course.
Exam resits will incur additional costs.
